Willie Obiano has been sworn in as Governor of Anambra state for a second term.
The Chief Justice of the state administered the oath of office and oath of allegiance on the re-elected governor and his deputy, Nkem Okeke.
Governor Obiano pledged that his next four years will be for more human and capital development, as well as urban renewal in Onitsha, Nnewi, Ekwulobia and Awka cities.
In his words, Anambra will be known as one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
Dignitaries present at the swearing-in are optimistic the governor would touch all spheres of the
state’s economy in his second term.
