Former CJN Idris Kutigi Dies In London

Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Idris Kutigi, has died at 79.
He died on Saturday at a hospital in London following a brief illness.
Born on December 31, 1939, in Kutigi, Lavun
Local area of Niger State, the former CJN served as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Niger State before he was appointed High Court judge.
He joined the Supreme Court in 1992 and was appointed as the CJN on January 30, 2007.
He served in that capacity until December 30, 2009.
